The Welsh 3000s Challenge (Long Distance Walk)

With over 30 miles and 13000ft of ascent, the 14 (15) peaks of the Welsh 3000s are a serious undertaking, needing a high level of personal fitness and determination. Contour offers 1 day and 3 day packages, the former being particularly demanding, with an early morning start and a late finish. Whether you opt for a one or three day crossing you'll be walking across three of Snowdonia's finest ranges: The Snowdon Range (Snowdon, Carnedd Ugain, Crib Goch), followed by descent into the Llanberis Pass, before negotiating The Glyderau (Elidar Fawr, YGarn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach, Tryfan). After Tryfan it's down into the Ogwen Valley, then the final obstacle(s): The Carneddau (Pen yr Ole Wen, Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn, Yr Elen, Foel Grach, Foel Fras, Carnedd Uchaf). Sounds a tall order? Then why not let Contour help advise, plan, guide and support you during your attempt on this demanding 30 mile challenge. Whether you would prefer to attempt the 15 peaks in 24 hours or walk them at a more leisurely pace, over a number of days, then you can rest assured that Contour will be with you every step of way to help you realise your goal.
