Although it shares the same syllabus as its sister course held in the Brecon Beacons, this package is held in the more challenging terrain of Snowdonia.   After completion you'll have a sound grounding in practical navigational skills as well as the theory to back it up. It has been designed for the navigational beginner, who ventures into the hills on a regular basis, but wishes to master the basic skills needed to navigate confidently in the mountains in poor weather or over unfamiliar ground.  Course content includes:

We'll be working to our own, we believe, unique method of tuition which will see us progressively develop your navigational skills and techniques at your own pace.  We appreciate that people assimilate the lessons at a different speed to others, and some techniques will be understood quickly while some will take a little more practise, so there's ample review time built into the syllabus to allow us to revisit those lessons which take a little more work, ensuring that you leave the course with a firm understanding of all the subject matter covered during the two days
