UK Expedition 2022 Snowdonia Traverse

As well as running our long courses, holidays and tours Contour also runs UK based expeditions, limited to a maximum of 4 people, which take in some of the most remote and challenging environments to be found in the UK 

2013, 2019, 2020 & 2021 saw us cycling and climbing sea-stacks on Scotland's west coast; 2015 Lundy and 2016 we completed three Snowdonia Traverses

It comes as no surprise that 2022 will see us returning to North Wales to undertake the four day north east to south west traverse of the National Park.  During the course of the four days we'll climbs and scramble over the park's major ranges in the following order:

• Day 1 | Carneddau |  Amphitheatre Buttress with Cwm Lloer routes if time permits
• Day 2 | Glyderau | Grooved Arete & Bristly Ridge or Idwal Buttress & Cneifion Arete 
• Day 3 | Snowdon | Ridge Route, Lliwedd then Snowdon Summit
• Day 4 | Craig yr Bera | Sentries Ridge

We'll be walking between each climb and spend the evenings under canvas, bunkhouse or Youth Hostel to maintain that expedition feel.  See the map below for the route and climb locations
